Cake Mixing Ceremony
Christmas is no fun without the Traditional Christmas Cake,and making this cake is not a quick,easy simple step.
Preparations begin months in advance. The first step towards making the cake is the mixing process,formally called ‘Cake Mixing‘, a ritual religiously followed all over the world and said to be a harbinger of good tidings & happiness.
#FriendsofTheBteam were invited for yet another cake mixing ceremony.
Wouldn’t it be fun to mix lots of colorful cherries,dates,plums and dryfruit together with your favorite drink,under the stars? However,the treat is not to savour immediately but to keep ready for the festive season.
With less than a month left for Christmas and New Year, Level 12 – Double Tree by Hilton Hotel, began its celebrations in full swing with the cake mixing ceremony. A lot of in -house foreigners,guests,bloggers and invitees and the staff at Level 12 – Double Tree by Hilton Hotel geared up with aprons,caps and gloves took part in the fun filled ceremony.
Assorted dry fruits were mixed with cinnamon,nutmeg and generous amount of liquor and stored until the festive season.
The marinated assortment of dry fruits will be incorporated when baking plum cakes and puddings. The longer the mix is kept for,the tastier will be the cake,said Chef Parthiv Joshi.
It is basically to bring in the festive mood and make merry. People who get these cakes are in for a pleasant surprise too.
The whole Cake Mixing Ceremony was followed by a wine and appetizers tasting.
